Our first Wellness Program in Boston's Back Bay / by Sheena Patel

On Sunday, April 9th in Boston's Back Bay we successfully launched the first academic seminar of ZPA Mind Body Intervention Program.

We merged the philosophy of both Santana Dharma and Taoism to allow for a deeper understanding of oneself. The first three hour session's goal was to 'Energize Oneself' through bodywork techniques from Yoga and Tai Chi, to understand how energy moves from the inside out and cultivate more of that energy through the breath. The second three hour session's goal was to 'Rejuvenate Oneself' through bodywork techniques from Yoga and Tai Chi, to understand how cells heal through always being in a state of peace mentally and physically throughout the day to eliminate cell destruction.

After three hours, participants felt, energize, recharged, with their breathing quality heart rate quality improved, as well as their blood pressure reduced for those who are used to have high blood pressure symptom, and blood pressure increased who are used to have low blood pressure symptom.

We will continue to study and design ZPA program by combining these two eastern techniques and aim to bring ultimate health and wellbeing to all.
